上海冬雷腦科醫(yī)院由原復(fù)旦大學(xué)附屬華山醫(yī)院神經(jīng)外科主任醫(yī)師、博士生導(dǎo)師、腦血管病組創(chuàng)始人宋冬雷教授創(chuàng)辦，是一家以實(shí)踐探索公立與社會(huì)醫(yī)療機(jī)構(gòu)如何互補(bǔ)解決醫(yī)患就診問(wèn)題的醫(yī)院，醫(yī)院占地面積20000平方米，預(yù)設(shè)床位300張，一期開(kāi)放120張。目前為國(guó)際醫(yī)療保險(xiǎn)直付機(jī)構(gòu)，泰康健保通直付單位，三甲醫(yī)保定點(diǎn)醫(yī)院，南通大學(xué)教學(xué)醫(yī)院，國(guó)際醫(yī)療旅游城市試點(diǎn)機(jī)構(gòu) 。

宋冬雷教授曾是原復(fù)旦大學(xué)附屬華山醫(yī)院神經(jīng)外科主任醫(yī)師，神經(jīng)外科博士生導(dǎo)師，華山醫(yī)院腦血管疾病組創(chuàng)始人兼負(fù)責(zé)人。宋教授臨床、理論經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富，是國(guó)內(nèi)精通血管內(nèi)介入和顯微外科手術(shù)的少數(shù)專(zhuān)家之一，迄今完成超過(guò)20，000例腦和脊柱手術(shù)，于2015年創(chuàng)立冬雷腦科醫(yī)生集團(tuán);2019年成立冬雷腦科醫(yī)院。
