考向1：
1. until作連詞, "直到……為止",引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句時(shí),需注意:
主句是肯定句時(shí),其謂語(yǔ)用延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞,強(qiáng)調(diào)主句的動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)一直持續(xù)到從句的動(dòng)作發(fā)生時(shí)為止, "直到……為止"
I’ll stay here until you come back. 我會(huì)待在這里,直到你回來(lái) 。
2.主句是否定句時(shí),其謂語(yǔ)用非延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞,強(qiáng)調(diào)主句的動(dòng)作在從句的動(dòng)作發(fā)生之后才開(kāi)始, "直到……才……"
(1) We can't get off the bus until it stops.
直到公共汽車停下來(lái)時(shí)我們才可以下車 。
(2) We didn't start our discussion until he arrived.
直到他到了,我們才開(kāi)始討論 。

【拓展延伸】
so that還可引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句, "因此;所以" 。此時(shí)從句中通常不含情態(tài)動(dòng)詞 。
