二、比賽中的勝負積分
在比賽當中出現(xiàn)的賽況報道、那些奇怪、讓人摸不著頭腦的縮寫，你都知道是什么意思嗎？我們看到的積分榜上通常都會這么寫：
GP W D L GS GA GD P
Italy 3 2 1 0 5 1 4 7
GP 是 Games Played 的縮寫，意思是“場次”；
W、D、L分別是 wins、draws、losses，即勝、平、負；
GS 代表“進球”（goals scored），GA 代表“失球”（goals against），GD 代表“凈勝球”（goals difference）；P 就是“積分”（points）。
For example:
1. Angola, collecting one point with a 0-1-1 record, currently stand third with one goal conceded.
安哥拉隊的戰(zhàn)績?yōu)?平1負，進1球，積1分，暫列第三。
0-1-1這個表示戰(zhàn)果的方法是老美常用的，三個數(shù)字代表的順序是：勝-平-負。0-1-1就是“0勝1平1負”，這里連字符要讀成 and，不要和幾比幾的 to 弄混。那么積分可以用“collect ＋基數(shù)詞＋ point(s)”表示，而“排名第幾”就可以用“stand/rank + 序數(shù)詞”的形式來表示，比如上面例句中的collect one point和stand third 。
2. Mexico rank second on four points with four goals scored and three lost.
墨西哥隊進4球失3球積4分，排名第二。
3. We lost by 1 point.
我們輸了一分。
用英文表達贏了幾分或輸了幾分非常簡單，用 win by 和 lose by (通常是用的過去式)就成了。
For example:
We won by seven. 我們贏了七分。
數(shù)字后加上 points 代表贏或輸了多少分。
即：We won by seven points.
