寫駁論文有很多小竅門，如需要鍛煉出區(qū)別“事實(shí)”和“觀點(diǎn)”的能力，不論題目中所給的事實(shí)有多夸張都需認(rèn)為它是對的，不能攻擊，只能攻擊觀點(diǎn)中的邏輯漏洞;凡是跟統(tǒng)計(jì)數(shù)字、統(tǒng)計(jì)方法有關(guān)的邏輯錯(cuò)誤都盡量不要攻擊，最多只能一筆帶過等等 。
GRE寫作中定冠詞the該怎么用
1)特指雙方都明白的人或物：
Take the medicine.　把藥吃了 。
2)上文提到過的人或事：
He bought a house.　I’ve been to the house.
他買了幢房子 。我去過那幢房子 。
3)指世上獨(dú)一物二的事物：
the sun， the sky， the moon， the earth
4)單數(shù)名詞連用表示一類事物:
如：the dollar 美元;the fox 狐貍;
或與形容詞或分詞連用，表示一類人：the rich 富人; the living 生者 。
5)用在序數(shù)詞和形容詞最高級，及形容詞only， very， same等前面：
Where do you live?　I live on the second floor.　你住在哪?我住在二層 。

6)與復(fù)數(shù)名詞連用，指整個(gè)群體：
They are the teachers of this school.指全體教師
They are teachers of this school.　(指部分教師)
7)表示所有，相當(dāng)于物主代詞，用在表示身體部位的名詞前：
She caught me by the arm..　她抓住了我的手臂 。
8)用在某些由普通名詞構(gòu)成的國家名稱、機(jī)關(guān)團(tuán)體、階級、等專有名詞前：

9)用在表示樂器的名詞之前：
She plays the piano.　她會(huì)彈鋼琴 。
10) 用在姓氏的復(fù)數(shù)名詞之前，表示一家人：

11) 用在慣用語中：
in the day, in the morning (afternoon，evening),

If we understand the science insuch way, we can't see clear differences between the inchoate religion and theinchoate science, because, the functions of both of them are nearly the same,and both contain totally absurd theories if one studies them today. One mayagree that in that period of time, science was largely to reassure people's feartowards the mysteries just as what religions try to do.
However, the development of science finally makes it an important tool forus to understand the nature and to change the nature in our favor. Theunderstanding of electricity expels the old thought that the thunder is a signindicating that the god is angry. The advancement achieved in medicine greatlyelongate human's life, and nowadays people no longer depend on certain ritualsto give them health. Discoveries and inventions alike have transformed oursociety into the nowadays form, and provide us great power to determine ourfuture. If science is only to reassure us, how can we achieve the feats we havemade through our history? As Francis Bacon once said, "Knowledge is power", thetrue function of science is to give us the power to conquer the difficulties weconfront.
Unlike science, arts which seldom give us the power to better our materiallives, mainly concern about our spiritual lives. Admittedly, some arts actuallyupset people by let us see the weakness of the human nature or the darkness ofour society, as the art works of Michelangelo. However, arts possess much morefunctions than just upset us. Arts can ease our emotions and reassure us, as themusic of Mozart does; arts can give us confidence and braveness, as the music ofBeethoven does; arts can also tell us what philosophy is, as the music of Mahlerdoes. Although arts possess so many functions,one can judge that the majorfunction of art is to represent the life and to present the artists' ideals.Most literary works, such as fictions, poems, dramas, give us a vivid image ofthe society. Other forms of arts have the same kind of functions. For example,Tchaikovsky composed music to represent the hard life of the common Russianpeople, while Van Gogh drew pictures to represent the beauty of the nature.There're also other pieces of art showing us the inner part of the artists, forinstance, the representative new trend movie "four hundred blows". By presentingthe life and the ideals, arts give us true understanding of our circumstancesand ourselves in a spiritual way. Arts can not explain why it rains,but itexplains how people feel about the rainy day.
Before we can make full utilization of any subjects of study, we must atfirst understand their main functions and values to our society. For example, ifwe depend upon rituals and ceremonies to give us fortune and luck and to provideus enough to eat, we may probably die of hunger. The true value of these ritualsand ceremonies lies in the fact that they are crucial part of our culture. It'sthe same case for science and art, if we hold the opinion that science is onlyto reassure people, and art is only to upset people, we can't see the importanceof these two subjects to our society. It's possible that we ignore thedevelopment of them, and sequentially our society won't develop without thebreakthroughs made in science, and our citizens won't lead a happy life and willstay in an ignorant status without the existence of great art works.
